[Harp-L] Harp price / availability in the 40's - 50's - 60's?

"What kind of harps did Little Walter, Big Walter, John Lee Williamson 
and Sonny Terry have available to them? How expensive was the instrument
(approximately) at the time? How difficult it was to obtain... that kind of thing?

Also, was there are a lot of choice, in terms of the brand of the harmonica, 
and its quality?"

I know that the Marine Band was the instrument of choice, but if anyone
has any solid info or links on prices, other brands that were available etc
it'd be appreciated.
