Check out El Watson for another - Pot Licker Blues (1927) and One Sock Blues (1928), both second position with guitar accompaniment. One important thing to remember is that Gwen Foster's first recorded second position work, "Drunk Man Blues", was cut in November of 1931 - not really that early.
