I understand the shells (alone) are Eu75. So, at about $1.40 per,  
they come to $105.oo (MIN). Quite a lot for plastic. I would prefer  
that they be made of virgin nylon OR glass filled nylon (like those  
old combs that you could bend in half without breaking). The CX has a  
major flaw. The slots molded into the ends to hold the back strap  
spring. I always have to reinforce them with small alum brackets  
which I install to the INSIDE of the case ends. These brackets should  
already be moulded in OR a sturdier plastic used.
