[Harp-L] Re: criticism

I have already responed to Elizabeth´s post, but don´t know if that got through (hasn´t shown up yet anyway). I read the digest, and would not have posted if I had read Jonathan Ross´post first; he appears to be making the same points that I do, making my post unnecessary.

    But now Bob writes:

>That having been said,,

>Elizabeth also has offered her opinion, her observations, her feelings, her
>views, concerning the criticisms made of the Kiley Barter videos. Her
>opinions, feelings, observations, and yes, criticisms are as valid as any,
>if the rule stands that "anything made public is subject to scrutiny".
>Therefore, Elizabeth's observations are as valid as the original criticisms,
>"discussion group" or not. There should be no complaints forthcoming from
>either side in the discussion. As has been said before,,"It's all good".

Well .., no, you´re wrong here. Since Elizabeth was wrong -- trying for invalid reasons to stifle a minor discussion on the list; nothing to do with the quality of the harmonica peformance -- consequently, you´re wrong in defending her.
If "it´s all good" is your standpoint, good for you. But it´s not mine. Harp players as well harp-l posts can be bad.
If we can´t debate/criticize harmonica players on harp-l, what are we doing here?
