Try maxing out every slider on the unit, one by one, so you can hear what each voice does by itself. Then start combining them.

The POG does multiple octaves up and down, so make sure to play it through an amp with at least a 12" speaker so you can hear the lows. (A 15" speaker would be even better.) It is really nice to be able to move so much air on the low end with a harmonica. If the amp has a tweeter too, so much the better.

Listen to it with and without distortion from the amp (or a stompbox). Distortion makes all the overtones louder, so it usually makes a sound bigger.

Try single notes, octaves, chords, every texture you have and see what they sound like coming through that box. My guess is that a big chord coming through that thing with multiple octaves kicked in sounds huge. How could it not?
