Re: [Harp-L] mic

The Audix OM3b is a decent choice for an all around affordable mic. It does
not have the shure SM58 bump in the high mids that tends to make harmonica a
bit harsh sounding. About the same price point as a 58. However, there are
many options for your request. Budget is a big part of the equation for
what to recommend. The Sennheiser 441 is a great harp mic and some of the live
condenser handhelds (shure, AKG, Neumann) are nice. These are a bit more
expensive than the 58 class of mics.

O.K. techies, i gotta question. What mic would you recommend as a best
choice for both singing and playing through?Mic should be fairly clean sounding as
befits the style of music i play. Just want to add a bit of vocal
occasionally. thanks
Mike
