[Harp-L] re: chromatic scales

Some people like to practice scales and if you have the discipline  
that's great. It's hard for me to wrap my head around the  
chromatic--the layout is odd. What I like to do is try to play along  
with CDS, play by ear try to pick out the melody. Fun to just play  
along with the top 40, see if I can figure out what Shakira is  
singing. Also fun to play a familiar melody and try starting on  
different holes, you'll figure out when you you need the slide.
