Tradition, yep probably.

Do I do it?

Always.

In front.

Prominently displayed.

With a few bux already in there.

and

whenever I go to another band's gig,

I put some scratch in it.

Always.

I don't say anything about it being there at my gigs,
and I don't say anything when I put my $ in at other guy's gigs
but I let the people I'm with, by action, know it's the right thing to do.

Sing [play] like nobody's listening
Dance like nobody's watching
Love like you will never get hurt
Give it all up at the gig
or what you bring back home will stink up the place

PEACE
