I don't think that you could re-infect via your own harp, but someone else could get sick from handling it, so maybe a quick wipe-down of the cover plates with rubbing alcohol wouldn't be a bad idea

I am a karate instructor, so I am around kids a lot. The little bug-factories are always coughing and sneezing all over me.
