Re: [Harp-L] Duos with harmonica

Carlos del Junco has a few early releases of harmonica duo - great stuff if
it is still available - a wonderful introduction to his simpler ideas - which
evolved into more complex statements as his talent blossoms.

Got me thinking about what I like as far as individual/unique voices -
Carlos always interested me, as did Paul De Lay - original type "sound" to their
playing and they each have their own sense of timing and swing.

As far as traditional chicago sound - Bharat and his Rhythm Four, Kim Wilson
excite me, even though the overall sound concept is based on an individual
sound created post WW II and these guys, in a sense, duplicate it - however,
their ideas and execution still have something special to my ears.
