I second that.  Though my pace has been slower than some of late, I strive to be better today than I was yesterday and better tomorrow than I am today.  The people who play this instrument that I admire are those that do the same at a greater rate; they, in turn, inspire me to push the envelope.  It is a much larger group than has been mentioned on this thread.
