[Harp-L] small amp

I suggest the Fender Frontman as a suitable small amp. $79 dollars out the
door, 15 watts, 8 inch speaker, and solid state(no tubes to change or
replace). I find the Harmonica Honker mic best suited with this amp. This ring
mic really allows a player to use his/her hands for various effects and I play
this amp on 10 with no feedback. I am careful with stage placement so as to
avoid feedback also the convenient volume pot on the Honker helps too. It goes
without saying that you must mic this amp to hear it in a band setting. It is
also kind of one dimensional as far as its tone. I don't use any pedals boxes
etc. This little Fender screams and for the money it can't be beat.
