In my reply, I said that apparently an input can also be an output.  But I want to add that It 
would not be an ouput after the preamp stage or after the power stage or anything cool 
like that -- so it's not like a "line out" -- it just outputs the microphone signal.  Again: I 
ain't no tech, so hopefully you'll hear some more.  --jk
