[Harp-L] re: Michael Peloquin

Yup, Michael can play a mean harp AND killer sax. And you know what? He can sing too. He has an album called "House of Cards" with some very spicy stuff. I recommend giving it a listen...

Subject: [Harp-L] Michael Peloquin

I spent a few enjoyable hours at The Saloon on Grant Ave. in San Francisco
tonight checking out Michael Peloquin playing with Blues Power. Jack
"Applejack" Walroth is the leader of and harp player for the band. Michael,
for the most part, played sax, and as usual was stellar. I've seen him a
few times in the past few months, mostly playing sax.

But tonight, at the beginning of the second set, Michael played harp on a
couple of tunes. This dude can flat out play! I was sitting at the bar,
talking to my friend, when I heard a harp start to play. I quickly realized
that it was different from the good stuff that Applejack plays, and when I
looked up, it was Michael.

If anybody gets a chance to check out Michael Peloquin on either sax or
harp, definitely go for it. It's always a pleasure listening to him.
Sheesh, I hope I haven't gone and swelled his head. But, hey, I calls 'em
as I sees 'em. And I try to support my local harp players.
