[Harp-L] Re: Blues Jams in Paris

Evan,

Mox Gowland is generous as well as musical! I may show up June 5 if it's still happenin' at the Utopia. I ain't usually in Paris, but I'll be en route back to SoCal June 7 after a year in France....

I understand the Paris blues jams are still happenin' at L'Art Puces Cafe, At 17 Rue du Plaisir and the One Way Club, at 50 Rue Jules Valles, just outside the peripherique near Porte Clingnancourt, friendly venues and good players. And I think the Aperoblues jam is still happening too, Fridays from like 1800 to 2100, near the Bastille at 27 Rue de Cotte, near metro Ledu Rollin, off of Rue Faubourg. JC Ditroy the harp player/ host of Aperoblues/ artist/ raconteur is at ditroy@xxxxxxx I will fwd you offlist an email he sent me announcing the new Bastille Blues Society, but their website doesn't appear up yet. And of course if you are in the South prior to June let me know I think we can find ya a jam around here somewhere!

Bon Chance!

I searched the archives, and came up with this: http://harp-l.org/mailman/htdig/harp-l/2005-April/msg01101.html

But it's been almost a year, so I figured I'd check in to see if there are
any other jams in Paris I should know about. I just moved to town last
Friday and would love to know some good spots to hear/play live blues and
maybe catch up with some Harp-L'ers.

Cheers,

Evan Meagher
