Hey Nate:  Here is a very interesting review of the current  Magic Dick's 
band Bluestime written for Bluesreview.com by Don  Fluckinger (and yes, that is 
the correct spelling of his name).  He  discusses the origins of the JGeils 
band, the band's real names and even a  new (as of 2000) harmonica Magic Dick was 
developing, as well as how these  "old guys" compare to Pearl Jam.  All new 
and fun information to  me.
