Re: [Harp-L] Improving Breathing Problems with Harmonica

No need to apologize. Harp-l topics morph like surfing the internet. Last I heard, taking topics in different directions isn't against the Harp-L policy (as long as there is harmonica content contained within).

Actually, most people could use more awareness of effective breathing whether assisted by use of harmonica or not. Along with proper hydration, proper breathing is primary for a healthier life. (I lead every one of my students through this concept in learning to play the harmonica).

I guess I'm sorry I posted the URL for the site regarding "Improving Breathing Problems with Harmonica", which describes the use of harmonica to improve breathing for those who have problems, primarily the elderly. This is a program that is actually at the UofM in Ann Arbor, MI, and is not about "proper breathing" for the healthy, but rather effective breathing as assisted by the use of the harmonica. Some apparently missed the point, and took the topic in a totally different direction.
