Hi Jim, the RPx400 has an XLR mic input, a stereo input a high impedance input (guitar or high Z mike) and a CD-player input. This was one of the features that convinced me on buying it: I could use both a harmonica high Z mike and a normal XLR mike at the same time. Never used it though (long time no band).
