Re: [Harp-L] Jazz software / JSSS?

You might want to look at Band In a Box
It can generate a solo over any change in
standard notation and in numeous styles of
jazz players.

Hi,

Came across jazz software JSSS:
http://members.w-link.net/~jsss/

It's capable of analyzing midi files and suggesting relevant jazz
scales for improvisation.

Does anybody know of anything like that with more features? I'm
wondering if such a program could logically suggest scale in both forms
(1) verbal and (2) notes on staff as a real scale in the appropriate
key, etc.

Best,

Alex
