[Harp-L] re: blues harp names

JP,I've got a funny one. When my son was 4 I was watching cartoons with him and thoroughly enjoying it I might add. It was on cartoon network and the show was "The Cow and Chicken" and they were out playing, got lost and asked for directions at this old backwoods shack. THey knocked at the door and this old cat answers and say's, "Hi boy's, I'm Blind Mudpuddle Johnson, what's your name?" I about died right there. He proceded to grab the National Steel and laid down some serious Miss. Hill Country slide.steve--- On Thu 04/13, Jp Pagan < jpl_pagan@xxxxxxxxx > wrote:From: Jp Pagan [mailto: jpl_pagan@xxxxxxxxx]To: harp-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx: Thu, 13 Apr 2006 16:55:53 -0700 (PDT)Subject: [Harp-L] re: blues harp namesi've always been partial to names that refer tophysical infirmities or disease - you know Blind OwlWilson, Peg Leg Sam, Shakey Jake. in that spirit, myfavorite blues name actually comes from the Simpsons.though he was a sax player, his homelessness
