Bachman may be offlist, but I asked him privately and he said he went
into guitar center, where it was on the floor for $399, and told the
sales manager (who I think he said he knew) that he was going to shop
around, and then got the $299 offer. So it's a coincidence I guess.
Now's when we all run to our Guitar Centers and say "Hey, my friend got
this for $299...". I can't stand being in the place myself, but I guess
I'd stomach it for a deal like that, haha.
