Earlier this year, I used a guitar-playing buddy's Pro Junior at a 
rehearsal. It had the stock 12 AX7 tubes in it. Taking a cue from BBQ Bob, I 
plugged in my mic (in this case, an SM57 with lo-to-hi-z converter), turned 
the tone all the way down, then ran the volume at about 2 or 3. Know what? 
It sounded excellent! Don't get too hung up on what the numbers on the dial 
say. So you couldn't get the volume past 1 and 1/2 -- was it loud enough? So 
you had to leave the tone all the way down -- did it sound good. There's an 
awful lot of tone in these little amps. DEFINITELY, worth fooling with, IMHO 
- especially for the price.
