RE: [Harp-L] (no subject)

You could probably find the tabs by just googling 'pianoman +tab
+harp|harmonica' or something like that (without the single quotes).

On that one, old Billy is playing chordally, 3-4 holes at a time, so
maybe it's best to just grab a (c?) harp when you have some time, put
the cd on, and just work it out. It isn't that hard for this song. If
you want to get real serious, get Amazing Slow Downer (just google and
you'll find it) and it will let you loop and slow down whatever passages
you want, so you can continuously play along a certain piece without
having to stop and put the song at the right time signature over and
over. This one, you could play without really knowing how to play
harmonica once you feel it out. I gave my little 3-year old nephew a
harmonica and he shoved it in his mouth and played something very
similar to this, I almost died laughing!

Hello Harp-l

I would really love to be able to play the harmonica solo in "pianoman"
by
billy joel
but I do not have enough experience to work the solo out
so if you guys could help me out I would really appreciate it.

Benjamin

Thanks
