How many of us don't have pitch control problems? Oh please! But
nowadays we can cheat. All you need is ProTools. EVERYBODY tunes their
vocals today. Listen to some older songs and you can tell the singer is
human. I heard from a connected buddy of mine that a certain big-time
country singer has 5 Digitech Vocalizers in series between his mic and
the board when performing live. He's so pitchy that using only one
would yank the pitch so much that everybody in the audience would
notice. So he sets it up such that each one only yanks the pitch
slightly. For him it's not important that he can sing, it's important
that he's so videogenic.
