[Harp-L] Re: Harp-L Digest, Vol 27, Issue 29 (vintage microphones)

To TomEharp, in Connecticut, from HOJO, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin: There is a
world-famous
microphone expert, Bob Paquette, Sr., at the Select Sound Services Company
in Milwaukee.
He runs the Microphone Museum here. He has in his collection microphones
from 1876 (Bell telephone) through the 1960s, and beyond.

Not only a collector, he started the Select Sound Systems company in the
1950s, has written a 128-page book on microphones, and repairs and sells antique
microphones.
He has no e-mail address, and prefers to talk to people via telephone or in
person. He's the friendliest guy in the world, and very easy to deal with.

If anybody has the type of mic you're looking for, he does. Call him or send
"snail-mail" to:

Bob Paquette, Sr.'s Microphone Museum, 107 E. National Ave., Milwaukee, WI
53204. Or call him (weekdays to 4 p.m. Central time): 1.414.385.2260. Ask for
Bob Paquette, Sr.
