Re: [Harp-L] Hering vintage harps

I own Special 20's and Lee Oscars
I recently bought a six pac of the Vintage 1923's..
I also bought 2 Buschman Delta Frost

I much prefer the Vintage 1923's to any of the above.
I cannot comment on longevity but I like the tone and playbility and the way it feels in your hand and mouth.

As to the Buschman Delta Frost.. I fail to understand the hype.. but that's why there's chocolate and vanilla.
I'd get more Special 20's or Oscars before I bought these again. But never say never.. they may "break in"
and change.. I hope so.

But at $8 less per harp.. I will buy more Vintage 1923's in different keys..
again assuming they hold up.
Another plus... Hering US distribution is now in the hands of The Best Lil Harp House so customer service is bound
to improve.

Subject: [Harp-L] Hering vintage harps

How do Hering vintage harps rate against other various harps, ie, such as
Lee Oskars, Hohner's special 20 and marine bands?
