Thanks for posting the link. That there is a difference of petential
is clear, and one can see that the pair Stainless steel/brass is less
problematic than aluminum/brass.

A very good point that you mention is that aluminium oxyde tends to
very quickly, just in contact to the oxygen in the air, form a very
regular protective layer around the metal, and this barrier, besides
being very hard (you make sandpaper and other abrasives like
toothpaste out of aluminum oxyde), is very stable and passive. This
protective barrier is even more effective if it is intentionally
created, like in the anodising process used on both Hohner
Meisterklasse models.
