[Harp-L] 'Thanks Ralf

Point to point kits are not the answer fully, due to the inferior parts
used. Ralf makes a good point, one which maybe people don't listen to from me
because I build the product and am the first to ever use these NOS paper in oil
capacitors in a modern amp. Capacitors, transformers ( which bassmans have a
unique design, having the true Triad specs like we do and copying them to the
letter ), speakers, very important, and tubes. A point to point will be in
improvement over a printed circuit, but if you use the PC as your baseline,
it's not hard to raise that bar. Coming up on ebay soon will be a Bassman that
is as close to being off the factory line exact in 1959 than anything ever
hand built. NOS quality Yellow Astrons, Tungsols, mint matched quad of original
P10R 1959 Jensens, 1950's pots, all original 1959 transformers, it's what Bob
has talked about, a True Bassman in all aspects. I think we have done our
best in the meantime to service the community with our product. Everyone sounds
unique, no matter what amp they play.
