Has anybody ever tried using some of the older reel to reel microphones? I came across two AKAI mics at a garage sale and bought them for less than two dollars. I'll tell you what, I get a great tone out of them. Plus they are small and easily cupped. It seems to me that this would make great harp mics, but I don't see very much of them out there. Is there a reason why? Eddie
