It looks like but it has not been treated.
Some players love it some hate it. Give it a try and you'll know.

Hi,
Until the new Marine Band Deluxe comes out, Hohner diatonics with wood combs have never been sealed from the factory, and the wood on the MS Blues Harps is doussie, which is considerably more resistant to moisture than what the Marine Bands use, which is pearwood. Some of the customizers here can give you some tips, but personally, I'd rather spend $15.00 US, from Mark Lavoie, who makes laser cut beeswax sealed maple combs for the MS harps, which IMO, are much better combs, and allows you to use up to 5 reed plate screws, which will give you a considerably more airtight seal than the stock doussie comb, which only allows for 2 reed plate screws. Mark's site is http://www.middlebury.net/lavoie, and on the only MS harps I have, I use these combs.
