I don't know the Madcat. But if you are looking for a small mic, you could
also consider the 'Harmonica Honker'

http://www.microvox.demon.co.uk/products.htm These are also small mics and
have a good range of tone possibilities. Some years ago there was a mic
comparison in 'Planet Harmonica', at
http://www.planetharmonica.com/ph2/VE/TMResultatsUK.htm The honker came out
much better then the shaker Madcat. But, as the author says, it's a
subjective matter.
