Both Bb and Eb chromatics are tuned below the standard C harp. Standard
C (with Hole 1 blow as middle C) is the highest key of 12-hole
chromatic (though some manufacturer out there I am told does make a
high D). Noted exception aside, all other keys are pitched below middle
C.

This is not a general rule, Winslow.

Seydel makes its Chromatic deLuxe 'Classic' C in the middle of the range.
We move up to F then and down to G, like the Diatonics do.

In addition you can get the whole range down to LowC as well, which we name 'Bariton'
Some of it you will find here:

(Making a custom Eb would be no problem at all)

I must confess that I should update the section with tables to make that more clear.

Have a nice Happy New Year Party, we will be the first to pass the line in Germany, like every year :))))

Yours
Michael Timler
