Great recording and a very good lesson in a style of music seldom played 
today.  There are very few contemporary performers that employ first 
position to as great an effect as Sam Hinton does in this 2 CD set.  I'd 
seen this recording mentioned once before on harp-l but it wasn't until 
Joe Filisko mentioned it to me that I actually bothered to go out and 
buy a copy.  There is a lifetime of learning on these 2 discs.  What's 
interesting is how Sam Hinton's life has spanned such a wide era of 
styles.  He reaches back to before the turn of the last century.

It's old fashioned, you'll have to copy a postal address down and send a
