[Harp-L] re: a grand idea



Forget the mic and amp. Beginners shouldn't be louder. Buy 3 Lee Oskars--A, C,
and D. Lee Oskars are tough. Beginner harp players need tough harps. Don't buy
a custom harp at this stage. Get lessons. Get a couple of harp compilation
albums. Play along with the CDs. Find a guitar player and jam at least weekly.
Go see Charlie Musslewhite, Jason Ricci, and Paul Delay any time they're in
town.

I bought my own amp and a mic after 11 years of playing. Before that my buddy
and I both played through the same amp (an old Heathkit solid state). He had a
cool old Unisphere mic. I liked it a lot.Anyone got one for sale cheap?
