As far as finding out what "really" happened at this concert, even if your friend remembers anything, it is an exercise in definitive uselessness.
 
Everyone experienced it differently, filtered through their own expectations/hopes.
 
I remember walking out of a Queen concert at Ford Auditorium in Detroit after seeing that most of the music coming from the stage was actually pre-recorded and being fed through the PA by a large reel - to -reel tape machine, thinking that this was a terrible show.
 
I was the ONLY one leaving the building, even giving my ticket stub to a fan waiting to go inside, so my recollection was a bad concert while everyone else was having a great time. 
 
Who's experience was the "real" one?
