Hi Harp-ler's.
 
Thought i would just add my 10 bob's worth on the "Butter...esteemed or  not" 
thread.
 
Reason 1. The solo on "Done a lot of wrong things" on the better days  album.
 
Reason 2. A whole band of young lions...Butter,Bloomfield et  al... gigging 
in a mixed race band in what i beleive where particularly  tough times in the 
US...for this alone i think he should be held in the highest  esteem.
 
Reason 3.  That most elusive of beasts...your own tone,phrasing and an  
unmistakable sound. Who sounds like Paul Butterfield?    "Wa's  like him?...Damn 
few and there a' deid" as we say in Scotland.
 
        Regards to all...Al, a Paul  Butterfield fan.
