One thing also that nobody brought up....keep this in mind folks....Try
downing a quart of jack daniels and god knows what else before your next gig
and hitting all those "right" notes :-)  Butterfield was great, and
sometimes not, but given what I've read about him, and the first hand
stories, if they are true about his substance usage before/during gigs, I'm
amazed that he was as good as he was and the mistakes were as minimal. Count
me in as a fan, right, not "by the book good" many times, but man it does
grab you by the short ones.

I suppose I get it.  It's like the difference between and original movie and
the remakes. ie: King Kong, many will believe the 1930's ver is the best
others only the the 70s version and other still will only like the new one
that will be released in a few weeks.
