[Harp-L] Re: One tube

Gee, who would have thought:) All my work has been done with extensive
research on the effects of preamps tubes, rectifiers, and bias, Against what some
purists think a bassman should be set up as, which is stock high gain, easy
feedback nightmare. 115 customers can't be wrong. In some amps tube swapping
works, in some it just was not meant to be a harp amp, and cut your losses,
but always try tubes first. With 81 different tube setups for the 3 preamp
setup of a bassman, it was a lot of time and effort, same as others who spent
years developing their own unique circuit. Now all that work and info is given
in the manual I supply, 12 pages of illustrated walk through. At some point I
may make a small booklet for all you reissue owners who just can't
understandably afford a boutique amp. Not for nothing, but I suggested a harp buddy
who plays chromatic get the Harp Commander 2 to be able to go right into the
PA, and the language used in the little trifold even I couldn;t follow and
could not set it up. Sorry Ron but we are not all techno wizards, I hope Chris
figures it out. SJ
