I'll second that. I have played all over the metroplex, and I still do.
I also don't see any of these places as dangerous or unsafe to go to.
Now, if you are looking for a super clean blues club in a upper class
neighborhood with high priced drinks/food who play blues brother soul covers
instead of blues you will be hard pressed. As a matter of fact for places 
like this
I would reccomend the main street blues room in Grapevine, starting at $25.00 
a plate for dinner.Also known to cancel bands with no notice.
