Boy, we are getting some wicked diatonic players coming to this one and
with Rob Paparozzi on board this going to get fun. His insight as to the
transition to include chromatic in your arsenal will be great!!

Here again are the details:
Dear List,

This year will be my first Chromatic Seminar for Diatonic Players (and
also for chromatic players and teachers who wish to advance their
chromatic knowledge and pedagogy) held from August 8-13 at my house in
beautiful Columbia County, Copake, New York.

I have introduced players like Randy Singer, Rob Paparozzi, Clint Hoover
and Sugar Blue to chromatic and given lessons to Mike Turk and William
Galison who already could play chromatic.

This will be a the week before SPAH to allow players from abroad to take
part and I will update you as to some special stop by guests like Rob
Paparozzi!! This proves to be a very heavy duty chromatic week.

The seminar will be $300 or $500 if you stay at the house for the week; I
can pick people up without cars from the train station 20 minutes away. I
will include a copy of my two etudes "Scales and Arpeggios" and "Bona
Rhythm Etudes" for each player which usually cost $200.

We will cover everything from tone, phrasing, corner switch, dynamics,
speed, practice habits, etc.

The seminar is suitable for anyone wanting to gain more knowledge about
the chromatic. It should be fun to get several players together for
intense sessions.

I hope to have several pros drop by and make this a real meeting of the
"how to's" on chromatic plus, repair, plates, and tuning.

The next step will be a refundable deposit of $100 to me, just to avoid
last minute pullouts. I will have allow you to pull out up to one week
before the seminar without losing the deposit.

Harmonically yours,

Robert Bonfiglio
