RE: [Harp-L] Cover Songs

This reminds me of a friend of mine had a band in college called "Scotch for Breakfast" that specialized in playing all the cheesy rock songs that you basically aren't allowed to cover.

Stairway to Heaven
Sweet Home Alabama
Freebird
Satisfaction
Jenny (867-5309)
Baba O'Reilly
Coming to America
What I Like About You
Takin' Care of Business
Summer of '69

etc... Less of a band than party background music, but they sure had a good time doing it.

What are the "cheesiest" or not so cheesy cover songs you guys play?

Lately we've been doing:

99 Red Ballons
Purple Haze
Billie Jean
Rock It
Ghost Riders in the Sky
16 Tons
Tears for the Clown
Ocean

People love it!
