Something that seems to go unappreciated when it comes to the MM is that you can make major I-IV-V chords. With a Richter in cross harp you get a minor v chord (I-IV-v), and in 1st position you don't get a 3 note IV triad (just the 1-3). For the kinds of music that people buy the Melody Maker for, you'd think that having a real I-IV-V would get more mention.
