Actually, Steve told us that it was some product inside to seal the comb.
Hohner has also changed the material for the cover-plate to make them stronger. In fact, it looks like an kindda evoluated Hering Vintage 1923.
 
But the harmonica is not yet on the market as Hohner has not finished to define the product. What Steve did show to us was a kindda nearly finished prototype. There is still a trouble about the screws cover-plates as Hohner does not want their harmonicas looking like Filisko's.

Hi Ben,
Was the comb sealed? It sounds like they had to do something since the 
introduction of the Hering Vintage Harps. If you have any more details, 
please let us know.
