I'm in agreement with Iceman here.

Not about waterless cooking.

But about the "natural" harmonica sound. (Such as it is when being
amplified).

About the only time I'll use delay is if I'm playing in a particularly
"dead" room.

I believe less is more. I've heard musicians pull out all kinds of effects,
and it becomes a big circus show focusing on what neat-o sounds they can get
through a myriad of effects rather than the music itself.
