[Harp-L] Free Harp Software for the Palm

Hello all,

A while back I came across an old and lonely USENET posting by a fellow
offering a free harp application for the Palm. I wrote and got a nice reply
as well as a copy of the app "BlowHard!".

>From the Blowhard "Info":
Blowhard! is a tool for harmonica players. It is designed to provide as
much information as possible on a computer as portable as your musical
instrument. Blowhard! was written onboard a Sony Clié with Quartus Forth and
ResourceEdit. Blowhard! was written by Dave Bennett.

Blowhard! Is a tool for visualizing keys, scales, and chords on the diatonic
harp. I really like it. I wrote the author regarding the program and was
shocked to hear:

"you're the only other person who has actually looked at this despite me
tootin' my horn about it for over a year"
"I think it is a hot tool and many people could learn a lot using it, but no
one seem interested..."
"If you know someone who is "yack-able" and plays harmonica, please show 'em
Blowhard and get some feedback."

Well, I think the folks of Harp-L are "yack-able" so here goes. Blowhard
isn't perfect, but a few users and a bit of feedback is probably all it will
take for Dave to update this cool little pocket tool. If you are a Palm
user, please give it a try!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!
