With more than 3 years of preparation, we are launching application for the
"5th Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival 2004 in Hong Kong". For easy reference,
the following are of highlights:-

Co-presented by HK Harmonica Association, Leisure and Cultural Services
Department of the HKSAR Government and King's Harmonica Quintet.
Supported by HK Arts Development Council, HK Federation of Youth Groups and
Tom Lee Music Co.
Official Radio : Radio and Television HK (The only Official Radio in HK).

Period : Aug 3 (Tue) to Aug 9 (Mon), 2004.
Venue : HK Cultural Center (Aug 3 to Aug 8) and Yuen Long Theater (Aug 9
Concert only)

16 Categories of Competitions, including Senior Category, International
Category and Category for Harmonica in Collaboration with Other Instruments.
12 Seminars on Harmonica Playing Techniques.
4 Thematic Concerts - Asian Folk Gala, Blue & Jazz 'K'night, Classical
Delights and Asian Rising Powers.
3 Forums on Education / Accreditation, Composition and Design.
Opening Ceremony playing original harmonica orchestral music (1 World
Premiere).
Exhibitions including the Germany Hohner Harmonica Museum and Asian
development.
Open Stage playing in every afternoon and all day of Sat & Sun.
Sales Counters for various selections from around the world.
Closing Ceremony for the competition winners to show case.
