[Harp-L] Silvertone's Biscuit replica is killer!

Hello fellow harp lovers,
I love to share a good experience with others that have similar
interests whenever I get a chance, (which doesn't happen often enough).
Below I have copied and pasted Silvertone's mention on harp-l about
his "Biscuit" replica. I have wanted a biscuit mic for a long time. The
first couple of opportunities I had to pick one up, I felt they were a
little out of my price range, especially since I wanted to chrome one after
I got it.
When I found out the Silvertone "Biscuit" replica had become
available, I ordered one right away. I really don't too excited about any
piece of equipment, but I am so completely satisfied with this microphone in
every respect, I had to share my feelings. I can't tell that it isn't an
original Astatic "Biscuit". I love the sound, and it is beautiful. Working
with Stephen was equal to the quality of the microphone! Straight ahead,
excellent communication, and prompt delivery!
I am simply a satisfied retail customer, (meaning I paid the full asking
price for the mic), of Mics by Silvertone! That is my ONLY connection to
the company and to the mic. If any questions remain about the mic or my
experience with the company, I would be happy to share further details about
either off list!
