Hey Peter,

Guitarists (especially blues guitarists) love to
play in E, A and G (generally). I'd recommend you
get your first three in A, D and C for crossharp
play in those respective keys.

Later, I'd recommend you consider picking up G, F
(and/or low F) and Bb harps for playing in D, C and
F respectively. 

After that, go for an E, Eb and B for crossharp
play in B, Bb and F#.

Then go for the Db, Ab and F# to round out a full
set (covering the keys of Ab, Eb and Db), though
with guitar players these last few will only be
used occasionally.
