To use magnets instead of a spring in chrom design

Just a curious question for chromatic harmonica customizers/designers:

Have anyone tried the idea, to use two magnets instead of the spring,
to provide force which sets slide back to its original position?
Two megnets can be attached at the body and slide button,
with the same pole facing toward each other, like the CX12 style spring.
