Because of liability issues, as well as sheer numbers of email
addresses, etc. major companies do not send emails instructing people to
install patches as a rule.

I just recieved 3 emails all supposedly from Microsoft.  They are BOGUS.
Please do not open the attachements!!!  My virus scan caught it and
access was denied into my computer.

Some slime is trying to mess things up for alot of people.  The email
subject will say, "Use this Patch"
